Bill McCallie, "Tennessee's Cowboy Poet", has performed on the stage of Nashville's Grand Ole Opry as well as annual performances at the National Cowboy Symposium in Lubbock, Texas. He is a regular at the Sherman Talent Round Up in Elko, Nevada each year. He has logged some 75 appearances on TV and is currently the host of "The Cowboy Jubilee Show" on Classical 90.5 WSMC-FM in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He can be heard at 6pm each Sunday evening. Bill is a member of the Academy of Western Artists and was named their DJ of the Year. He is also a member of the Western Music Association. |
| Bill and his band "In Cahoots" are regular
performers
throughout the southeast. Their stage shows are filled with humor
and acoustic, bluegrass, and western favorites. The band is made
up of veteran entertainers Mike Parham and Keith Mahan. Mahan is
an old hand at lead and tenor harmony and his bass playing is
outstanding.
Mike Parham come into the group bringing 20 years of experience on
banjo,
mandolin, and baratone harmony singing. The band appears each
Tuesday
evening during the summer on the Southern
Belle Riverboat. He has regularly scheduled performances at
the
world famous Chattanooga
Choo Choo
complex. |
